This Is A Scribble Of My First Experience Of Live Match @ A Stadium. It's Just A Scribble. Dont Expect Any Serious Writings. Just Time Pass. It Goes Like This...

We Had Got 7 Tickets In All For That Match On 8th April, 15 Days Ago. That Too In BLACK, Paying 320 Bucks Instead of 220. & The Day Arrived on Last Thursday.

I Left office 20 minutes Early To Be An Early Bird @ The Stadium Along With Other 4 Waiting Outside There. And We Two ( Ravi & Mallu - In Photo Below ) Got Painted On  Our Faces, The Tricolor & The So called RC Logo.

Then, Blaming The Other 3 late Latiefs For Being late, We Entered The Stadium @ 6. 

Oh ! There It Is !! The REAL STADIUM. I Never Expected It To Be So Real.  I Mean So Small. Measuring Just Few Meters larger Than The Ground Where We Play Every Weekend.

For @least 15 Minutes I Kept Repeating My Words " ಇಷ್ಟೇನಾ ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಮ್ ಅಂದ್ರೆ...ಏನೋ ಮಾರಾಯ ಇದು...ನಾ ಏನೋ ಅನ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ .."


Then I Saw The First Ever Live Cricket Player, Deccan Speedster Rudra Pratap Singh. Then He Was Joined By Rohit Sharma. Then Came Symo. Then Gilli. Then Jumbo. Then PK. Then Robbie. Then Steyn. Then Gibbs. ... My God Every Player On Ground Practicing Live In Front Of My Eyes. Thrilled Moment !!


Then Came Ramya, Riding On A  Trolley, Waving Her Hand To The Crowd. Occasionally Passed Some Flying Kisses. That's It ! The End Of Rehearsal.

The Real Thing Started With The Toss. Heard Nothing . But Saw On The Large Screens, That RC Is Going To Bat First. 

" One Thing U Can Experience @ Stadiums Is That, U Will Not Get The Feel of Slowing RunRate Or The Surging One. U Just Enjoy The Shots. The Wickets. The Missed Chances. That's STADIUM EXPERIENCE. "

By The Way I forgot To Mention The Entry of The Cheer Girls. They Entered The Scenario Just After The Toss. Rather Minutes Before The Start Of The Match.

Don't Doubt My Innocense For Sitting Just Infront of Cheer Girls. The Organisers Arrange Their Podiums In Such A Way That All 6 Podiums For CheerGirls Are Placed @ Right Distances. So That No Supporter Will Feel Deceived. I Feel Pity For CheerGirls, As They Need To Get Up & Dance @ 

• Every Boundary
• Every Wicket
• Every Overend
• Every Timeout

Poorgirls !! 

U Know What ? Money Makes Many People Do Many Kind Of Things !!

This Was The Poster We Had Prepared There, To Grab The Attention of The Cameraman. Pity Is That, He Never Turned His Lens In Our Direction.

Now Coming Back To Macth,

When Deccans Were Fielding, Venu Was Fielding The Fence Just Few Meters Away From Our Seat. We Screamed His Name To Grab His Attention But He Smiled Only Once Out of Around 15 Of Our Screams.

WhereAs Rossy, ya The Same Ross Taylor, When He Was @ The Same Place After 2 Hours, Smiled & Waved His Hands @ Us, 10 Out of 10 of Our Screams. 

The stadium Got The Energy When Virat Played His Natural Game & Hit Some Over The Fence Shots. All of Us Loved Those Shots & Cheered Him In Return.


Haan .. About The Food. There Were Only 2 Options. Samosa ( Re. 10 Each ) & Pepsi ( Re. 30 Each ). And We Bought None.

Even When The Deccans Were Slowly Creeping Towards The Target The Stadium Was With Its Regular Energy . Screaming @ Every Shot, Every Missed Chance & Some Wickets That Fell.

To End With Our Home Team RCB, Lost The Match. But We Won The Evening With Lots Of Memorable Moments.
